Lennert Dirkx (b. 1997) is an young artist working mainly within the capabilities of the photographic medium, but also ventures out to experiment with mixed media. After graduating highschool with a degree in publicity and graphic design, he started his bachelors in photography at LUCA school of arts, campus C-mine, Genk. It’s here where Lennert starts focussing on making sense of not only the world around him, but also his place in it. His work holds a poetic quality that doubles as a visual metaphor, an abstract depiction of himself and his view of the world around him.
